"Sweet"
This is a message we received from the teenage daughter of our very 1st sponsored patient, Hazel. Hazel lost her brave battle with gyn cancer in April 2013 and we are certain we are better for having known her SWEET spirit and seeing those gorgeous eyes!
" Thank you and your organization for helping our family. You guys really made a difference and my mother always told me how sweet you were and how much she appreciated you guys. Just know that you made an impact on my mom an genuinely cared for you and thought you were terrific." ~ Autumn

"Gratitude"
Jacquelyn,
I want to express my humble thanks and deepest gratitude for what you and your organization have done. The luncheon was quite emotional for me – more so than I expected – but I think in a good way. Let me count the ways FTTF has blessed us:
1. You made a change to your charter to help people outside the League City area, just so you could help my wife.
2. You were supportive and kind to her in your discussions on the phone.
3. You took a real interest in her situation, and even visited in the hospital – definitely one of my best memories there.
4. The gift bag you brought was incredible. And the pillow the girl scouts made was really special.
5. We used that Saltgrass gift card for months – it was awesome! Since my daughter actually was working there, it went even further!
6. We didn’t just drop off your radar after she passed – was good to know you and your organization were still there.
Please keep me in mind should you decide you want to expand your ministry into the Kingwood area, or more support for the male spouses from someone who’s been through it. You and FTTF are making a difference, one person at a time, and I’m honored to know and be a part of such a generous and kind organization.
Sincerely, Sean Elgin
